How to Assemble PC?

This set of instructions will help you assemble a primary computer, assemble home PC, assemble a budget PC, and assemble a gaming PC. While assembled CPU, the first and the most crucial step to choose the right PC parts and put everything in the correct slots and connectors, don't worry if you don't know where to start. We're here to guide you step by step process to build an assemble PC in Mumbai.

How to Buy Processor?

Start by choosing Processor you want, like Intel i3, i5, i7, or choose AMD Processor. You will need to get a CPU cooler for the CPU socket type if your Processor does not come with a Cooler, or you may use another RGB CPU cooler.

How to Buy Motherboard?

Next, you will need to find a Motherboard. The motherboard must support the Processor socket type like LGA 1136, LGA 1155 of the CPU you chose, and make sure the motherboard supports the features you want like the max amount of RAMs supports, Onboard WiFi, M.2 slots for SSD, etc.

How to Buy RAM?

After finding a compatible CPU and motherboard, select the RAM, ensuring that it is the correct type for the motherboard (DDR3, DRR4, etc.). For instance, if the motherboard has a DDR3 slot, then you cannot use a DDR2 RAM stick in that slot.

How to Buy Hard Disk?

Now, you'll need a Hard Disk you can get HDD or SSD. SSD is 10x faster than HDD or M.2 SSD (Remember, for M.2 SSD, your motherboard must have an M.2 slot).

How to Buy Graphics Card?

If you're a gamer or your Processor does not have an integrated Graphic, you'll need a Graphics Card. Check the interface of the graphics card (the type of slot it uses to connect to the motherboard). The form factor is significant. You need to make sure you have room in your case for your card.

How to Buy Power Supply?

Now, to power all this PC component, you will need a power supply. Add all part Watt and chose power supply, respectively, or you can use one of the online PSU calculators and make sure the power supply has the correct pins to connect to your PC components.

How to Buy Computer Case?

To organize all this in one, you'll need a computer case. While buying a case, remember the Foam Factor of Motherboard, Power supply, and Graphic card must be the same.

After you have gathered all these components, all you should need is a screwdriver. Just read the instructions below to installing each component.

Step 1:  First Ground Yourself.

Grounding yourself will help prevent you from accidentally damaging the internal components of your computer with static electricity.

Step 2: How to install a Processor on the motherboard?

To install the Intel CPU, a small half-circle notch on each side of the chip. With the contacts facing down, there should be only one direction where the notches line up with the socket's notches and gently place the CPU into the socket.

This part doesn't require any pressure. Use the load arm on the side to lower the plate over the chip, then push down and clip the arm under the hook once.

To install the AMD CPU, make sure the notch on the chip matches the notch on the motherboard socket, and drop it in. Another way to make sure this is installed correctly is to make sure the chip's small golden triangle matches the motherboard's triangle.

Step 3: How to install a RAM on the motherboard?

To install RAM, look at the RAMs' slot and direction; the next part is easy. Push the plastic wings at either end of the slot down and outward (some motherboards only have one), then put the stick in the RAMs slot sticking straight up. Push down steadily until the RAM clicks into the slot, and the plastic wings click back in and clamp the ends of the sticks.

Step 4: How to install a CPU cooler on the motherboard?

Every cooler is different, so be sure to check its manual for the proper steps. Most will have a back plate that goes behind the motherboard.

Step 5: How to install a Motherboard in Case?

Now install the motherboard in the case is very simple. Your motherboard's orientation depends on your case. At the back, you'll see a rectangular cut-out on the CPU case.

This is for the motherboard I/O panel, the portion containing the USB, VGA port, and Ethernet connections. Install that shield in a rectangular cut-out on the case and then align your motherboard's I/O panel. You should see the motherboard's screw holes align with the stand-offs in your case.

Step 6: How to install a Power Supply in Case?

Power supply units (PSUs) typically sit at the top of the case. Refer to your computer's instruction manual for the proper placement of the power supply unit, or look for a rectangular cut-out on the back of the case. Insert the power supply in the case and screw the power supply into the place.

Step 6: How to install a Hard Disk?

If you have an M.2 or PCIe SSD, install those on the motherboard directly. Generally, drives are screwed into a case. Don't forget to run a SATA cable from the Hard disk to a SATA header on the motherboard.

Step 6: How to install a Graphics Card?

Modern graphics cards use a PCI-Express (PCIe) slot. To Install the card in that slot, you'll need to remove a rectangular backplate from your case. You'll need to remove one or two, depending on the card's width.

Once removed, line the card up and push it down into the PCI slot. Replace the two screws you just removed to secure the card in position.

Step 6: How to install a Graphics Card?

Now you can plug in the rest of your power cables. Identify your eight or 4-pin EPS cable and plug it into the eight or 4-pin power slot at the motherboard's top. Then, find the bulkier 24-pin cable and plug it into the corresponding 24-pin ATX power port on the motherboard.

Next, take your SATA power and connect it to any storage drives. Plug-in power cable, USB cable, sound cable, etc. on the motherboard and cross-check everything and start the assembled pc and install OS.
